Amira, originally from Estonia, is currently living and working in Las Vegas, NV. She teaches workshops and seminars globally, and has become one of the most frequently requested bellydancers, performing at some of the most prestigious venues in the USA, her native Estonia and in Egypt. The Arab community has referred to her as “a true Arabic dancer,” and has commented that she captures the very essence Middle Eastern dance - the feel for the music. Amira’s expression, her interpretation of the music and her body language captivate and mesmerize audiences everywhere. Amira has studied Middle-Eastern dance since 1999 and Flamenco since 1997. Her list of teachers starts with some of the best Las Vegas local teachers and continues on with world renown award-winning masters. In Las Vegas - Marliza, Nadia, Aradia, Yashara, Ashtalea, Angela Palmeri-Davis, Marisa, and more. In the USA - Jillina, Eva Cernik, Zahra Zuhair, Zahra Saeeda/Kent, Aziza, Ansuya, Kami Little, Saqra, Faten Salama, Suhaila Salimpour, Karim Nagi (zills), Robyn Friend (Persian), Amel Tatsouf (N. African dances),Souhail Kaspar (rhythm and movement), Martha & Jayna Chill, Fahtiem, Angelica Nemeth, Astryd Farah De Michele, Virginia, Amir Thaleb, Rachel Bryce, Bahaia, etc. Amira has taught numerous workshops all over the USA including Hawaii, in Europe, Estonia, and in South America. She has an extensive background in both the medical field and music, being a graduate of 9 years of classical piano study, 2 years of guitar and 5 years of saxophone. |
