Marisa is a professional bellydancer who teaches and performs in Las Vegas and around the world.  She is a Level Two certified dancer in the Suhaila Salimpour Format and has performed with and assisted classes for Suhaila in five countries and numerous states.  Marisa is a certified yoga instructor trained in 2006 at The White Lotus Foundation.  In addition to her dance career, Marisa has over 10 years of experience as an educator and loves to teach as much as she loves to dance.  Visit www.MarisaLasVegas.com for more information.

Tribal Fusion Bellydance:

Tribal Fusion is a contemporary Bellydance style that incorporates elements of a variety of dance forms and movement disciplines. The style is quickly growing in popularity and is evolving at an exciting rate. In these Tribal Fusion classes we will work on applying the solid technique of the Suhaila Salimpour Format to combinations that include clean, precise movements and exciting changes in mood.

 

Vinyasa Yoga:

Vinyasa or "Flow" Yoga takes traditional yoga poses and links them together into a choreography that feels a lot like dance.  Use all your muscles and move all your joints to the rhythm of music from all over the world.  Each class ends with a full-body guided relaxation.  Leave feeling rejuvenated!

 

Suhaila Format Bellydance Level 1:

Learn to coordinate foundational bellydance movements with finger cymbal patterns and arm movements.  Based on the Suhaila and Jamila Salimpour Formats.  Don't have finger cymbals?  Come anyway and borrow a pair for your first class.
